In the state of Washington, an Officiant is a person authorized by law
to perform a marriage ceremony.

What type of Ceremony would an Officiant perform?

The title "Officiant" is generally used by persons who prefer to perform civil
or non-denominational ceremonies, rather than religious ceremonies.

Many churches have strict rules as to who can be married
by the pastor or minister and who may be married in the church.

If you do not meet the qualifications,
a Ceremony Officiant is an ideal person to perform your wedding
because you can choose to have a traditional ceremony,
non-traditional ceremony, mixed faith ceremony,
contemporary ceremony, or anything in between!
